Best cocktails in Newquay. The tasting menus are brilliant. The staff are so lovely and really take pride in the drinks they make.
Food was average, cutlery would have been nice a member of my group had to get it for us. Cocktails were ok but food was better missed
Decent food, nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. Witnessed a large group of youngsters meet up like an old episode of "friends." Clearly the place to go/Meet in the daytime. Clean and well presented, the only thing that let's this place down is seating. There is plenty, but as soon as 1 or 2 groups arrive, the place seems full, and a single customer or couple looking for a nice meal will struggle to not feel like an exhibition in the way of the locals meeting point.
Came for a hen do, it was so easy to deal with wax both via email and face to face, couldn't thank them enough. They were attentive, friendly, sociable and just nice people. Thank you for everything!
Absolutely love this place. The building and design are fantastic and the staff among the friendliest I've encountered. The food is up there with the best I've eaten anywhere and the drinks (especially the cocktails) are amazing. I will always highly recommend WAX to anyone.
