Cheap, nice pub downstairs
Great place for all surfers! Amazing atmosphere, best surfing school just below the Hostel and tasty burgers at the ground floor of Hostel.
Well organised backpackers hostel. Quite clean and tidy. Abit of noise from the bar below but we are okay with that. 33 night for a double en-suite room with such magnificent sea view, what else would you expect?
While the staff were friendly and the bed linen was clean, this is the bare minimum that unfortunately does not make up for the severe lack of cleanliness, hospitality, and general awareness that this hostel exhibited. The bathroom facilities were not well kept, the floors were dirty, the free breakfast consisted of pieces of toast and SPAM, and they played loud live music directly underneath the room until 3 AM. Would absolutely not recommend this hostel to anyone.
Welcoming and easy to find. Located in the centre of Newquay. Staff friendly & helpful. Sleeping accommodation basic but comfortable. The only downside is the bar downstairs had a band play till midnight on Friday eve. Otherwise a great place to stay!
