Fresh, modern yet traditional. My daughter got married here in 2017 and everything was perfect. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The food was the best wedding meal i have ever had. A fantastic business run by a family of perfectionists with great views and close to both Newquay town and Fistral Beach.
A lovely, very quirky hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. The interior decor is amazing, the beds are comfy and the bathrooms are huge! I've taken a star off really for 2 reasons - the exterior of the hotel really does look grubby, run down and unnappealing, and the shower only ran fast if it was blisteringly hot - as soon as I cooled it, it ran to a dribble. A thoroughly pleasant stay however, will definitely return :)
Food not spectacular. Drinks are very pricey but that's expected. Staff were excellent.
