Really good for the money, seaside view room for 60, nice staff, and parking
We stayed as two female travellers. The location was great for its proximity to high street and shops and bars. But room was dirty. The whole place needs a refurb.
Hostel, and not anywhere near even a 1-star hotel. Tiny, cramped room with tiny bathroom, poor ventilation, bunk beds for 3 adult guests. Had to pay for towels and kettle/tea tray. No hand towel, not enough hooks for towels for 3 guests in the bathroom, no sufficient space in the bathroom for guests toiletries, mouldy shower cubicle, hand wash basin had only cold water working no water coming out from the hot water tap, not enough power sockets for 3 guests, only 1 chair in the room, very uncomfortable beds with worn out mattress. Doors had no handle on the outside of it, so the only way of closing the doors when leaving the room is to slam (and disturbing other guests). Parking area not sufficient. On the positive side, great location and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
It did the job. Nothing fancy. Clean and has a bar and pool table also. Perfect for groups. Great location, right on the sea front
On the cheap and very clean. Staff very helpful with everything. Rooms in summer are hot and you can hear everything (but thats probably drunk stag party no wonder ) probably not the best family hostel. Breakfast adequate.
