Looks great but didn't actually stay there so limited knowledge.
We stayed here for the October half-term holidays. The site is immaculately maintained and the toilet / shower block is probably the best I have ever seen. The best point is the site's proximity to the beautiful beach at Porth - literally walk off the site, cross the road and onto the beautiful sandy beach. Perfect for an out-of-season stay with the dog (dogs aren't allowed on the beach from 09:00 to 19:00 during May-Sept) and the Mermaid beach bar is good for a coffee (or a cheeky pint) after the walk. We will definitely come back.
Well worth a visit if you enjoy a good walk. Edit: This post was an error, I've not used the holiday park, the review was meant for Porth Beach itself. Walk up on to the headland and enjoy the views.
Had a really nice stay here in June. Lovely site close to Newquay, but right across the road from a nice sandy beach and the coastal cliffs for some nice walks to other beaches. Site very clean, shower/toilet block is excellent and clean, with the local radio station playing to entertain (free showers) Large washing up and laundry area also. Great sun sets from the beach/cliff too.
Absolutely incredible experience, we received a warm welcome upon arrival, and were able to go straight to our caravan despite being over an hour early. The caravans are beautiful and cozy with plenty of items for use, 2 toilets, a very detailed kitchen with the majority of things you need, including a dish washer. The area around the site is tidy and well maintained, it's very quiet around. Often the views from the caravans will include the beach, which is about 2 minutes away and again, is very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this place for both couples and families. The high street is only a 5 minute drive from the site, with a good variety of shops and supermarkets. Well deserved 5 stars
