I am a regular customer at the Maharajah, There is always a very friendly welcome, the food is amazing and I believe is the best Indian in Newquay. I fully recommend this from small groups to large as they have always accommodated us.
Has to be the best tasting Indian I have visited within cornwall. The staff are super friendly and food is stunning ! Let alone the view that goes with the place :) amazing place will definitely be returning :)
Tried delivery six months back, what little chicken there was, Tasted like rubber in watery High vis sauce. Korma was overpowered with coconut and was lacking in any sauce at all. All in all very bad. Benefit of the doubt we tried again last week and sadly were delivered even worse after over An hour wait. I genuinely think that we were sent scrapings of the returned plates from the restaurant. I will never use again. Years ago the place used to be really good, and Im sure the restaurant has its good days still, but you cant charge 5* prices for food thats worse than a microwave meal.
We have been going to the Maharajah for years and can honestly say we gave never had a bad meal. Also the staff are always efficient and friendly.The owner is also a total character.
From the outside the Maharajah isn't what you would expect. The restaurant actually has a beautiful view of the sea. As well, the staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is very good. Be careful with the dinner for two, it is a very large quantity. Highly recommended.
