Ordered and paid for a watch for my wife's birthday and arranged to pop down and collect it a few days later. I duly went to the shop and the watch was wrapped nicely and ready to go.....I bought a necklace while I was there which was also wrapped for me......a really positive experience.Off I went and a few days later, on my wife's birthday she opened the box and..........there was no watch inside!! I was totally gutted as you can imagine! I phoned the shop as soon as I could but before the published opening time and the phone was answered by Becks.......from here on in it was a masterclass in customer service!! She was extremely apologetic and sorry for the situation we found ourselves in, especially as it was a birthday present. Apparently it was the second incident of the same nature in a couple of weeks. Becks asked for us to come to the shop later that morning so we could collect the watch and give her time to discuss with the business owner.When we arrived, Becks was waiting for us with a smile and a 20 gift voucher to say sorry for the inconvenience......and the missing watch! Becks told us she messaged all employees to remind them of their responsibilities and to check packages before selling and shipping.We realise mistakes happen, that's life but it's all about how they're handled.....and this was managed in a friendly but professional manner.....Becks is brilliant asset to your business and was a pleasure to deal with.Thank you......see you guys again, Neil
