Is what it is! Bit of fun for the kids
No understanding of Asperger's and Unbelievably Rude! My son put 1 in the 2p change machine and it said that he was still 54p owing as it was empty. With some huffing and puffing he was given this extra money in his little pot. There was muttering as we walked off to play the 2p machines and then pointing. At this stage the manageress comes over (stinking of cigarettes) and tells us that the machine had been saying it was empty n 54p down most of the day. Anyways.... To cut a long story short, I went over to her, her hand was out waiting for the money and I gave her 60p and said that there was no need to be so rude about it. She then pointed and shouted "GET OUT". My Asperger son was, at this stage, standing outside in floods of tears. A person from the local taxi firm saw the whole incident occur and saw that we did nothing wrong.Avoid at all costs, unless you wish to be humiliated, or your children implied to be thieves....
There was a young lad working there that was very very helpful. But! Nearly every ticket machine didn't work so had to keep asking for the tickets and a couple of the shooting games had one side that didn't work. The 2p machines that pay out tickets are really fun for both adults and kids, also good thing to know is they use the same tickets as a few other arcades if you wanted to go round and collect a few instead of just using what you have there
A small but very organised arcade. The toy prizes are in great quality, claw machines 20p a try. The staffs here were very friendly and helpful, my kid had a very wonderful time today. Coin pushers are very well maintained. There are also some good slot machines inside. Definitely a great arcade.
