Kate is a wonderful therapist. I went to her with a knee injury which I was very worried about not being able to do any of things I love for 6 weeks or so... Im now off crutches, happily walking around and hopefully going to be able to surf again soon! My recovery has been very speedy and I think that is largely down to Kate. I've been attending Kate's pilates classes and found them absolutely brilliant. Kate is a superb teacher and her instructions are excellent. I've never done pilates before but really enjoyed them and found them very beneficial as I have had a couple of joint problems. The classes have a lovely atmosphere and everyone is very friendly. But the best thing about the classes and the main reason I chose this class is that Kate is a very well-qualified physiotherapist so she was well aware from the start that we all have different reasons for being there and different abilities and constraints in terms of what we can and can't do. We all receive tailored, individual, professional attention which is absolutely brilliant. The classes are kept deliberately small to make this possible. I can't recommend Kate and the classes she runs highly enough.
I had previously book an acupuncture session for my fianc with another company I came across online. As the appointment was unexpectedly cancelled in the last minute I looked online for another company and came across Newqay Physio Therapy: From my first phone call made to enquiry about it up until the end of the appointment, everything was just perfect! I booked the appointment for my fianc to receive an acupuncture and physiotherapist treatment. My partner described the experience as having received the most professional, caring, friendly, private and specialist physiotherapy treatment he ever has received. And for this we have to thank Kate who made my fiancs experience just perfect and right on point. Her expertise, knowledge, kindness and professionalism just shined all the way through. Kate was very articulate, took her time in explaining the whole treatment process and worked wonderfully on my partners chronic neck pain that he has suffered for many many years now. I must admit that it is very hard to find a combination of professionalism, highly skilled, very friendly and caring service like it was delivered by Kate from her practice Newqay Physiotherapy. I am somehow glad that my previous appointment with another company was cancelled otherwise I wouldnt have been able to come across this excellent practice and received the best service! I cannot recommend this practice enough! It is 5 star all around for me (considering that my partner and I are quite picky people and some would even say hard to please!) However, to our delight Kate has delivered and more, ticked all the right boxes! Thank you Kate for a wonderful service!
I had a pain in my shoulder that had lasted for around 3 weeks. It was a constant dull ache that kept me awake most nights. I gave Kate a call and she managed to squeeze me in at really short notice. After spending a while diagnosing what the issue probably was, she spoke to me about treatment options which included acupuncture - something that I really hadn't considered or that I even really believed in. Being at the end of my tether with the constant pain, I was more than happy to try anything, soo I gave it a go. Kate was massively reassuring about it, very gentle too. I literally didn't feel a thing. One of the issues adding to the shoulder pain was a constant neck pain that went into the back of my head when I turned my head to the side. This disappeared instantly. Immediately after the session I did notice a small overall improvement, and had no soreness associated with the needles at all. I slept very well that night.The next day was better, then the next to the point where I am now completely better about 7 days on. I will most definitely head back to Kate to fix whatever my aging body decides to throw at me next! Massive thank you!!!!!
