This small cemetery is located next to Newquay's Golf course. Atlantic Road Cemetery seems to be the popular name, but is also referred to as Newquay Old Cemetery. For the interested visitor/photographer it is abit of a let down. There are no grand Victorian Gothic edifices, just simple headstones. Some of the larger crosses are interesting and ornately carved by a skilled stonemason. Housekeeping is keep to a minimum so depending on the time of year, could be awash with spring/summer flowers. Unlikely to be found on the local tourist board's must see list.
