Excellent food and service & reasonable prices
Stopped in looking for a full meal, and sadly Driftwood are strictly a cafe, but the staff were so pleasant and the cakes looked soooooo great that we came back later. And boy, were we ever not in the least bit disappointed. The cakes were incrrrrredible, the coffee truly great, and I can't say enough nice things about the staff and the girl in charge. Sad that we were only down for the day, but if I'm about again I certainly will be back and cannot recommend this place highly enough.Thoroughly impressed.
The food here is absolutely fantastic. I can recommend the Buddha Bowls and homemade lemonade. Price is extremely competitive and the staff are very friendly. The only complaint I have is that there was a delay with the food. We were informed of this beforehand but it's difficult to see why as there were 4/5 members of staff working and only 4 covers. Anyway the food was worth the small wait. Thanks Driftwood.
The place is nicely decorated and has impressive views of the beach and out to sea. The waitress took our order promptly and didn't mention any delays. It was over an hour before we got our food and the place was not busy. Others left without being fed and others arriving were not told of any delays. Having waited so long, the food was disappointing.
