After different recommendations on the best pasty in Newquay, we decided to do a taste ourselves. We chose Jamie's (as a search on Google recommended t) another small shop 50 m away (recommended by a local) and a chain shop down the road. We bought a pasty from each shop and did a tasting of all three. Jamie's was the best of the three. Although Jamie's seemed to have less filling from just looking at it, (hence my husband was originally skeptical of it) it was the preferred one by all of us. The crust was flakier, and the filling was by far better in taste. Meaty and well seasoned. So yes, Jamie's was the best.
Best staff!!! Had so much fun in here - i have tried every flavour now and they are all delicious .... Highly Recommend this establishment!! You need to visit if you are in Newquay!!
