This is the best aquarium I have been to so far. There is so much to look at and every type of fish has something interesting about it.There are others animals apart from fish like coral tanks, a dragon and a huge turtle, etc. They also offer multiple feeding shows throughout the day. The gift shop have reasonable prices too, not extortionate plus only about 10 to get in. There are plenty of informative plaques and displays about all the fish they have and other ocean facts.

For the money it was good. Some of the fish were fabulous and it was great to see the turtle and some of the different shrimp. It felt like the main tank was a bit small for some of its residents who just swam round in circles. The children loved it, even the teenager, so worth going but there could have been some more variety. Wouldn't need more than an hour there.

Very good family day out in Newquay. No immediate parking facilities, the closest we found was about a 7/8 minute walk away which is fine, but be prepared for it. The walk is very hilly also so if travelling with someone who cant walk far, might be an idea to drop them off first and then go park up. The aquarium itself is very good. Feels much bigger inside than it looks, takes about an hour and a half to go around with two young kids and the gift shop was reasonable also (although Im used to London prices so may not actually be the case!). Overall very good, the kids ages 2 and 5 had a lot of fun which was the point so in my eyes a success. Quiet a lot of animals to see, couple of walk through tunnels and animals to stroke, all the normal aquarium things. Reasonably priced, but again, Im basing this on London attractions. Think we paid about 30 for the family rather than each like what Im used to.

A family visit with two small children. There was something there for everyone, even the 6month old had plenty to keep her occupied. We love coming here. Highly recommended.

Really excellent, not the largest aquarium but well laid out with plenty of interesting creatures round every corner. Especially great is the glass tunnel through the tank containing the sharks, rays and turtle. The octopus feeding was also fantastic and very educational. The cafe also has a good selection of reasonable food. Thanks for a lovely day out Blue Reef Aquarium.
